I've worked with media brands for the past 13 years - leading marketing, product and sales teams for print and online publishers. During that time, I've had the privelege of watching the media world and its business model explode, implode, resurge and then...well, implode again.
The bad news is that we're at that implosion stage again...and this time it's not just dotcoms or newspapers that are forced to struggle. But the good news is that - like a fire in a forest - shakeups like these are exactly what a business needs from time to time in order to encourage new growth, clear away the muck and find new ways to thrive.

A recent transplant to Seattle from San Francisco, I'm now working for Amazon; helping to grow our display advertising business across some pretty amazing sites.
